THEY may tell you in the face or they might put on a play or sing a song. But naming someone or something is very deep. Such is how people express their views and concerns. In the 1970s a certain string band was named “Bikman Mauswara”. Its logo depicted a rooster crowing. The band was named after a leader gave lip service to development needs of the district. Rooster crowing was a biblical lamentation. Peter lied three times that he did not know Jesus Christ and the rooster crowed three times. Leaders must tell and live the truth. Papua New Guineans are very artistic people and will show their feelings artistically so leaders beware.
