OVERSEAS youths who are in Waghi Wan village in Anglimp, Jiwaka, preaching the Gospel and helping spread the word of God in the area visited the Goglmul Lutheran Reform Church on Tuesday.

They were accorded a welcome by mothers and Sunday school children when they entered the church.

The visit is part of their programme to visit every church in the area while staying with locals for a month.

Goglmul Lutheran Reform Church Pastor Jacob Israel thanked the youths for visiting his congregation.

Israel said some of the things taught to them were eye openers.

He said the Waghi Wan people were changing, with good things coming into their area.

A women’s leader of Lutheran Reform Church in Anglimp district, Maggi Mathew, described the youths visit as a blessing to their community.

A mother of four said their patterns of worship in the church would improve because of new things taught to them and which they were ready to implement.
