FORMER Hela Wigman Peter Pakali has joined the Enga government-sponsored Mioks for the remainder of the Digicel Cup season, according to an official.
Mioks coach Billy Gau told The National that they had recruited the utility earlier in the season, but he was unavailable over past 10 rounds due to family commitments.
“He is a great player,” he said.
“He is young and energetic.
“His late inclusion really helps our backline movement and I am pleased to have him in the squad.
“He played his first game in round 11 and helped the side to a win over Hagen Eagles.
“I believe he is confident playing in the No.6 jersey.”
Pakali said he was grateful to play for the Mioks.
“I’m looking forward to playing more games for the Mioks,” he said.
