MINISTER for Justice, Attorney-General and Rigo MP Ano Pala has denied reports of him being guarded heavily by the mobile task force police over the weekend at a hotel in Port Moresby.

Pala said he was doing his normal duties over the weekend as a state minister and never hid from police.

He said he was available for any interviews by police and could be contacted any time and that he was not avoiding police arrest.

He also confirmed that he had received documents from police for contempt charges and he was willing to answer questions when required by police.

Pala was appointed the new Attorney-General, taking over from Kerenga Kua last Tuesday.
