Paradise Company names new group CEO

JAMES Rice, pictured, has been announced as the group chief executive officer for Paradise Company Ltd, company board chairman Anthony Smare said.
Smare said the company had become a significantly larger diversified food business after the acquisition of Laga Industries Ltd last year and needed the right person to lead the company towards further growth.
“After a rigorous international search process, Rice had been selected from a strong international list of candidates who had chief executive officer experience leading diversified food and manufacturing businesses in developing countries,” he said.
“Rice brings a deep industry knowledge of manufacturing, supply chain distribution and earnings growth and with his experience producing positive impactful results for FMCG (fast moving consumer goods) organisations around the world and is well qualified for the role.”
Rice said he was grateful for the opportunity to lead the country’s largest food and beverage organisation.
