Paradise Foods Limited has acquired a small fire engine for use on its premises.
The PNG Fire Service conducted a fire safety assessment of Paradise Food’s factory at Gordon, in Port Moresby, on Friday.
“We were very impressed at the high fire standards,” said Inspector Sedric Luwai, of the Fire Service’s Community Safety Division.
“We always keep checks to ensure all relevant fire equipments are installed before a proper fire emergency plan can be done for the company.”
Inspected were the administration office to the biscuit factory, the warehouse and the Queen Emma Chocolates factory.
The Fire Service will train Paradise Foods staff to use the fire engine.
