Parkop has a lot to answer for

 I SUPPORT the call by Lucas Kiap of NCD that “Parkop should resign in shame for buai ban” (The National, Jan 28). I want to ask the governor what city plans he has for NCD. Can he outline them and state what he has done so far to the millions of kina NCD gets through GST and other funding. One of his failed policy has resulted in a lot of people getting killed, thus creating a lot of issues in the city. He has been piggyback riding on the national government with the city’s major infrastructural developments. A lot of contracts have been given to his political cronies and supporters. Governor Powes Parkop should humbly step down or be referred for further investigation by the government and relevant authorities.
