Parties should have enough funds

Letters

POLITICAL parties should have enough financial resources to support their candidates during the elections.
The registrar of political parties and candidates should stress more on this requirement.
The law should allow parties to raise funds right after elections to ensure they continue to be active until the next election.
We are close to this year’s general election, but some parties do not have funds and their candidates are seeking finance to run under their parties’ banners.
Parties should have their own financial resources to finance their campaigns.
The office of the registrar of political parties and candidates should encourage all political parties to be involved in business to support their staff and operations.
