Pass laws to stop sorcery

Letters

I CHALLENGE all the bishops, priests, pastors and laymen claiming to be the ministers doing God’s work to read their Bibles and give good advice to the Government to address sorcery accusation-related violence in the country.
The churches have failed to help people repent from sin and do away with witchcraft, sorcery and other evil ways.
Most of us believe in God, who loves everyone.
Sorcery is real.
I come from a tribe in which my ancestors have training camps to teach sorcery and witchcraft.
I thank God my father and mother were never part of this.
They only told me stories about it.
I believe the Government should consider laws that deal with those who practise sorcery and witchcraft.
There should be a law in place to deal with those who curse others using spells or use evil ways to kill and destroy people.
A similar law should be passed to deal with those who kill others suspected of practising sorcery without providing proof to support their claims.
I believe that through this way, we will stop sorcery and witchcraft activities, discourage people from practising them and deal with the related violence and other issues.
