Agarobe witnessed the event and said there would be development taking place in the college – its deteriorating students’ houses, classrooms, library and other facilities.
The money received by the students will be used for their new posting to United Church circuits in the provinces and for the practical students preparing their travel to churches.
Agarobe told the students and school executives that they should organise a time and meet with the school management and have a dialogue on how they will a have a partnership in terms of school development.
The school is the oldest pastoral college, established in 1983 and have passed out more than 1,000 students.
Metago Theological College principal Konio Gerega Igo said the school was operating with buildings that were built with bush material until 2004 Kairuku-Hiri MP Moi Ave provided funding.
“We have lacked so much in here but we have being operating in the faith of God until today,” Igo said.
