Pay your rent or move out

WE now have a chorus of tenants complaining about the poor performance of the National Housing Corporation (NHC) and its failure to meet its statutory requirements with the State and relevant agencies.
These matters have nothing to do with any tenant who now finds themselves at the end of an eviction notice.
It has nothing to do with police, nor any politician who is on some gab for votes.
Quite frankly, it has nothing to do with anyone other than the State authorities.
The fact that NHC may be behind in its statutory processes is no excuse not to have paid your rent and nor does it give you as a tenant in arrears licence to use this as an excuse.
For far too long these parasitical people have burdened the State and ultimately the people of PNG by bulging off the system and effectively the people of PNG.
It’s not rocket science: pay your rent or get out!
