Are people from Aitape blindfolded by money

REGARDING the counting of votes in Aitape Lumi district, I see that the people have voted for the same person who hasn’t brought any developments into the district.
Our Tadji Airstrip, which was built during World War II and can be equal to Jackson Airport, has never been brought back to life.
Our only wharf, once active, has been shut for donkey’s years, and our roads from Aitape to Wewak are just like drains with pools of water that can rise to the window level of a Landcruiser truck.
Are we being blindfolded by money? It was the right time to remove the blindfold that a sitting MP tied to our eyes but yet the people wanted to be blindfolded for the next five years and suffer again.
