People in the dark about mining deal

People living in Orokolo Bay do not know the intended purpose and activities of Mayur Resources Limited.
We have been left in total darkness by our national and provincial leaders regarding the type of agreement they made with this mining firm. It’s too sensitive now to talk about the types of exploitation we have already experienced.
We are calling on the governor of Gulf and the elected member for Kikori Open to come down to us to explain the agreement they made with this firm and how it is going to affect the people.
