Plans to seal road

DAULO MP Ekime Mek Gorosahu has plans to make the long-term vision for an alternate highway to connect Chimbu and Eastern Highlands a reality in the 11th Parliament.
He said on Thursday he would work hard to seal the road to Gembogl in Chimbu through Kwongi in upper Asaro local level government.
Gorosahu said he had preliminary discussions with Kundiawa-Gembogl MP Muglua Dilu, for his side of the road, and would push on to ensure there was an alternate sealed road to move fruits and vegetables from the higher altitude areas.
Gorosahu said health, education and law and order would be his top priorities for the next five years.
He said students from Daulo district would have fee free education from elementary to university and tertiary institutions.
Gorosahu said health service was very important as healthy people would move the district and province forward. “I will support the health sector and also law and order sector will become major beneficiary to ensure there is peace and order.”
