BLOCK holders at the Tatavana plantation in the Raluana local level government of Kokopo, East New Britain, have been assured of titles.
Chairman of the Tatavana land block group Misiel Tolili said they were waiting for Lands Minister John Rosso to sign documents before the block- owners could reinvest in their blocks.
Tolili said the plantation was owned by Australian John Moore in the late 1950s.
When Moore left, people from the nearby wards of Vunamumur, Nangananga, Nguvalian and Bitatita formed the land group.
All the block holders were registered and those having concerns over their blocks should sort it out quickly. Tolili urged the block holders near the main road along the Nangananga Tatavana block to come up with their plans for developing of their blocks into a housing project for the people to lease.
