Platform aims to promote SME sector

A PLATFORM aiming to help locals thrive in the small and medium enterprise (SME) sector is now in operation in Lae, Morobe.
The platform, called the SME incubator hub, was founded by Tok Stret Consulting Ltd and has already helped a number of people with their business ideas.
“The idea came about when we were doing our training and development with different people and we realised that there was no platform for innovative ideas to be staged on,” Tok Stret Consulting Ltd owner and manager Julliane Terry said.
“We realised that people were isolated and that help was not always readily available for them.
“So, hence, the idea of the Lae SME incubator hub.”
