Plaza offers retail, dining event

Port Moresby residents have enjoyed a unique Festive Pop Up retail and dining event at the new Nambawan Super Plaza last weekend – and many took advantage
to kick-start their Christmas shopping.
Nambawan Super CEO Paul Sayer said, from Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon, Nambawan Super Plaza offered two exclusive shopping venues, entertainment, pop up street food and a relaxed beer garden for visitors to enjoy.
“Most visitors had never been to the new Nambawan Super Plaza before and were delighted with the beautiful setting, with 180 degree views of Fairfax Harbour, and enjoyed the relaxed event,” he said.
“Two retail spaces showcased the high quality home wares, jewellery, accessories, artwork and fashions from top local artisans.”
Jessica Cassell, operator of leading PNG Social Enterprise Bilum & Bilas, said the space gave her the opportunity to feature their latest lines and the event provided a steady flow of Christmas shoppers.
