The projects that received the funding assistance are the Huli Opene Technical Institute (K5mil), Enga Teachers College (K5mil), the new Enga hospital (K11mil), Enga College of Nursing (K5mil) and K1mil to the rebuilding of Rakamanda High School.
Marape also announced that K70 mil that was given by the Chinese government would also be distributed between two technical schools – Pombapos and Laiagam.
Marape said his three-day visit to Enga was to inspect the projects which were initiated by Sir Peter.
He called on other provincial governments and leaders to help to improve their province and electorates by initiating similar projects.
Marape said he would ensure funding was given for the completion of Enga’s main hospital by 2021.
