PNG lose last two fixtures

 THE Papua New Guinea Under-17 soccer team is heading to be second last in the six-team Oceania World Cup qualifying tournament under way in Vanuatu.

PNG will play New Zealand in the final match on Thursday after going down 1-0to New Caledonia yesterday.

That loss makes it impossible for them to secure third or fourth spot. 

PNG are equal fourth with Fiji but Fiji takes the lead on difference.

New Zealand have confirmed their top spot with a 4-2 victory over Fiji, while Vanuatu is chasing New Caledonia for second spot with a 3-1 victory over the Cook Islands.
