PNG Power slammed

WHOEVER is managing PNG Power in Lae should be sacked immediately. Period.
Simply for incompetence.
Recently we have heard companies like Coca-Cola venting their disappointment over the frequent blackouts which have taken their toll on Coca-Cola’s latest state-of-the-art machines.
There are about five blackouts a day. (Ms Blacklock please take note).
If the companies are spending more on fuel to run their gensets, imagine what the ordinary ratepayers are facing?
I am an average income earner and most of my appliances have been damaged because of the power fluctuations.
Who gets the blame? Don’t blame me for not buying power guards (can’t afford them) or taking precautions – I am a tax and ratepayer and deserve constant reliable power 24/7.
This is an absolute failure on the PNG Power management and they should all be sacked.
It is an absolute nightmare.
I am fed up with the “we don’t have the money” excuse.
You are the only power provider in the country and your coffers should be full. Give us something good.
