PNG signs up with Victor

HIGH Performance Sport Papua New Guinea through the PNG Sports Foundation signed a partnership deal with Victor Sport Australia.
The two-year partnership will make HP Sport PNG the exclusive distributor for Victor Sport products throughout the country.
Victor Sport national brand manager Andrew Shenker, who arrived in the country this week, met with representatives from various sporting bodies in the country to showcase Victor products. The agreement was signed with PNGSF CEO Peter Tsiamalili Jnr.
Participants who met Shenker included representatives from Cricket PNG, the SP Hunters, Port Moresby Rugby League, Fifa U20 Women’s World Cup local organisng Committee, Netball PNG and PNGNRL.
Shenker provided PNGHP staff an insight into the various strapping tapes and products available to athletes in the country.
Victor Sport products are highly sought after by major sporting bodies in Australia including the NRL, the Australian AFL, Wallabies, tennis, netball and swimming.
High Performance Sport director Aaron Alsop said the firm exported to 16 countries around the world which showed their quality and reputation.
He said he was keen to see how the high performance team, through the partnership’s resources, could support the needs of sports across the country.
