PNGSDP should send grads or post-grads

Letters, Normal

RECENTLY, I read that PNGSDP sponsored some undergraduate Western province students to study in Melbourne, Australia.
That is a fantastic move by the PNGSDP.
When the students return, they will bring with them knowledge and plans on how to bring tangible development programme to the people of Western.
However, time is not on the side of the province.
Rather than PNGSDP sponsoring undergraduates, as it will take 4-5 years to attain a basic degree, why can’t the company sponsor recent graduates or post-graduates as it will take them about two years to attain a higher degree and return quickly to the province to serve the people.
A longer timeframe of the scholarship will mean more costs and longer wait for the province to see development.
