Police meet to review ops, strategic plans

A POLICE management meeting involving provincial commanders in the Northern command was held in Lae yesterday and focused on issues affecting the operations and reviewing strategic action plans, says an official.
Assistant police commission, Northern, Peter Guinness said the meeting also reviewed the actions taken so far to implement the plans and discussed improvements and adjustments that needed to be considered.
“Through this meeting, PPCs from each province are able to tabled issues affecting each of them and decide collectively on possible approaches that need to be taken in order to address those issues of concern,” Guinness said.
