Police recruiting trainee constables for 2017

THE Royal Papua New Guinea Constabulary is again recruiting trainee constables.
The constabulary has recently advertised in The National that applications were now open for trainee recruits for 2017.
Application forms are available from police headquarters, provincial training centres, guidance officers at secondary and national high schools at the PNG Jobseek reception.
The application form can also be downloaded from the RPNGC trainee recruit job advertisement on www.pngjobseek.com.
Applicants must be PNG citizens, be physically fit with a minimum height of 158cm and have no criminal records.
Applicants must possess Grade 12 certificates with minimum C grade in English and mathematics and must be between the ages of 18 and 24 years old.
Applicants must also show evidence of a year 12 certificate or tertiary institution final transcript from an approved and government-certified educational institution.
Applications close on Aug 5.
All completed forms must be attached with a RPNGC application form, a cover letter and current resume.
Completed forms can be dropped off at the reception of police headquarters and applicants in the provinces can deliver their applications to the provincial police training office at their nearest police station.
Women are also encouraged to apply and the invitation is open to Bougainvilleans as well.
