Pope: Be more welcoming

Faith

Pope Francis, on Monday, received in audience members of the Society of Divine Vocations, as they celebrated the first anniversary of the canonisation of their founder, St Justin (Giustino) Maria Russolillo.
Addressing 2,000 members in the St Paul VI Audience Hall, Pope Francis said the anniversary offered a chance to reflect on St Justin’s legacy, specifically on how to practise his charism of serving priestly and religious vocations.
Pope Francis emphasised the importance of “welcoming, listening, closeness”, recalling that St Justin used to recommend Vocationists to become a dispensary of light and consolation.
