Potential seen in cattle ranch

A CATTLE ranch in Tararan, Markham, Morobe, can be a pilot project under the Government’s intervention programme, says Minister for Agriculture and Livestock John Simon.
During a visit to the White Bull ranch, he said even with little funding assistance, the ranch was already showing great promise.
The ranch had been assisted by the Livestock Development Corporation (LDC) with K30,000 to go toward rehabilitating it with more than 2,000 hectares of land.
Cattle business owner Johnathan Joel signed a memorandum of understanding with the LDC last year for funding to go toward the rehabilitation process.
