KIRIWINA local level government president Tom Cameron has retained his Kiriwina-Goodenough local level government (Milne Bay) seat by 26-6 votes.
He also retained his Kuruvitu ward seat unopposed in the local level government elections.
Cameron hopes to regain the deputy governor’s job when the provincial assembly sits next week in Alotau.
“I want to thank my Kuruvitu villagers for having confidence in my leadership to elect me unopposed,” he said.
Cameron said that he had retained his seat at the ward and LLG levels because he was fair to every one during his previous term.
“I made sure I worked with our MP Douglas Tomuriesa to deliver government services through the LLG, regardless of who they voted.”
