THE Port Moresby Private Companies netball trials ended yesterday with a great show put on by teams in the competition as they now look forward  to the season proper which kicks off next Sunday at the Rita Flynn courts.
In the opening premier division match, Investment Promotion Authority (IPA) belted Daltron 21-11.
Daltron now need to polish up their attack and defence to get them in top gear to compete in the season proper.
While, their rivals IPA now look more set on the right footing to meet harder challenges in the premier division.
Other teams that have displayed top form before the season proper are Nambawan Super 1 and BSP 1, as the two teams played their hearts out in front of a capacity crowd.
Nambawan Supa limited (NSL) came from behind to defeat BSP 15-11.
It was another boisterous effort from ever green NSL goal attack Peiru Digori, forming a great combination with her wing attack Vagi Ali, to defuse the bankers.
Ceciline Agelavu at goal defence and wing defence Rori Kila, were notable players for a losing BSP side which toiled all day but unfortunately ran out of gas against NSL.
The improved performance and huge turn out of players from respective teams indicates that the season proper which is set to kick off next week will be bigger than ever.
