Projects under the infrastructure tax credit scheme must be done in impact provinces, according to New Britain Palm Oil Ltd.
“Provinces where infrastructure tax credit scheme participants are based deserve to benefit from this Government scheme,” said NBPOL’s community projects coordinator Steven Raphael.
He said this at the infrastructure tax credit scheme workshop in Port Moresby yesterday.
Rapahel said NBPOL proposed that the Government should approve an annual budget based on 1.5 per cent of tax from the compny.
He said the budget would be used by New Britain Palm Oil Ltd, West New Britain government and district development authorities in the province.
Raphael said it would be an annual work plan.
