THE Trukai Industries Ltd back-to-school promotion “Winnim School Fee” gives parents an opportunity to win part of the K500,000 prizemoney to prepare for the school year, an official says.
Brand manager Nancy Inai said the company understood that parents struggled at the start of every academic year to prepare their children for school.
Inai said the winners of the weekly draws would receive K2,500 each.
“The beginning of the school year is always a struggle for many parents,” she said.
She said the company would also like to reward its loyal customers for their support over the years. The four winners drawn in Port Moresby yesterday were Betty Dick, Fred Able, Mairi Hera, and Peter Sariva.
They were part of the first 40 to win in the back-to-school promotion nationwide.
The promotion which began on Dec 23 will end with the last draw on Feb 12.
Customers can qualify by buying roots medium grain rice (500g, 1kg, 5kg, 10kg and 20kg packs), provide their names and contact details, and drop it into the entry bin provided at shopping outlets.
The names of the winners will be published in the two dailies and posted on the company Facebook page.
