A NEW Prouds branch is planned to be opened at the Vision City Mega Mall before Christmas, City Pharmacy Ltd managing director Mahesh Patel revealed.
Patel said since the opening of the first domestic branch at the Stop and Shop Central Waigani in Port Moresby in February, the company was set to open its first branch.
“Business for the year has been very slow, with the sluggish economy and lack of discretionary spending by customers,” he said.
He said there were too many fake and counterfeit products in the market and Prouds wanted to offer quality products.
“The people who have shopped at Prouds are very impressed and happy that they can finally get genuine international brands at an affordable price in PNG, without having to travel overseas,” he said.
Patel said apart from personal items, there were great gift ideas for birthdays, events, anniversaries and farewells.
He said the aim was to offer genuine international brands at affordable prices by bringing in a range of international fragrances, cosmetics, sunglasses, watches, jewellery, handbags and consumer electronics items for the Prouds branches.
He said some of the Christmas promotions included CK water bottles for every purchase over K350 worth of CK products.
The promotion included:

  • CK water bottles for every purchases over K350 worth of CK products;
  • CK Pouch for every purchases over K250 worth of CK products;
