Province aims to improve service delivery, be efficient

IMPROVING service delivery and becoming a more efficient organisation are the aims of the East New Britain administration as highlighted in its 2020-2024 corporate plan.
The administration’s provincial corporate team gave the go ahead to roll out the plan in line with the constitutional requirement under Section 72 of the Organic Law on Provincial and Local Level Governments.
Deputy provincial administrator (socio economic) Levi Mano said the plan was to set up a workable technical system supported by a quality work force to results.
He said the plan looked at how the ENB administration could effectively manage its resources through the establishment of an effective management system that would complement the delivery of programmes and projects to the respective wards and LLGs.
Other notable plans which were captured in the ENB corporate plan include the Medium Term Development Strategy 2011-2022 and the National Vision 2050.
