Publish development plans for voters to see

Letters

CANDIDATES who wish to contest the election should publish their services delivery plans in the daily newspapers for people to read and understand.
The citizens want to know how a candidate would deliver services and how they will be represented in Parliament.
Information provided on social media pages and endorsements by a few individuals is not enough to understand candidates and their intentions.
Try doing something that will attract the attention of the whole country.
The people have had enough of voting leaders who are of shortsighted.
They have had enough of having leaders who do not understand issues and developmental agendas.
We have had enough of noisy leaders who lack creativity.
We are tired of seeing leaders who cannot provide workable solutions to the challenges we face in terms of development and service delivery.
Some leaders think that if they are elected to Parliament, they will know what to do.
This is wrong.
We don’t want to see last minute service deliveries without proper plans.
Providing services towards the end of a parliamentary term is something that is becoming common these days.
Leaders should get to understand when and how to go about development projects.
It is time to put a stop to last minute service.
Voters should know how to identify and vote good leaders to represent them.
Do not vote the ones who only know how to operate on adhoc basis.
It is about time voters know that candidates who don’t have services delivery plans in place are the ones who don’t have a sound understanding of development issues that may require their attention.
This is why I believe it would be better if candidates contesting the elections should have their of services delivery plans published in the media and other public platforms for people to see so they are able to make informed decisions when voting.
