PUMA Energy presented 10 gas bottles and 10 burners to organisers of the inaugural Start-Up PNG 2019 Convention.
The items were received by Kumul Foundation Inc PNG on Friday to give to food vendors who had registered to set up stalls during the event.
The convention, which started yesterday, is being held at the Apec Haus in Port Moresby and ends on Wednesday.
The convention aims at providing an opportunity for the MSMEs (micro, small and medium enterprises) to showcase and sell their products at the same time seek advice, network and partner with banking and financial institutions to enhance their businesses.
Puma Energy retail network manager (PNG) Gideon Karali said the total cost of the items was almost K10,000.
Puma Energy country general manager and director Hulala Tokome said: “As we continue our commitment in energising communities, we are encouraging MSME vendors to sign up with us as resellers.”
