PUMA Energy PNG Limited has come on as the newest silver sponsor for the Port Moresby Nature Park.
A memorandum of understanding was signed yesterday to assist the park’s daily operations.
Puma Energy’s support to the park ensures that the facility’s generators are fuelled monthly for over a year.
Nature park said with the recent rise in fuel prices, the support was timely to maintain a large sanctuary for animal and plant life in the city.
“Work never stops and it’s with our greatest appreciation that we thank a global company such as Puma Energy for recognising our contribution to the community through our mission in conservation education,” Port Moresby Nature Park’s chief executive officer Dr Adrian Fowler said.
Puma Energy country general manager Hulala Tokome said the company’s assistance was part of its efforts to “energise the communities we live within.” “We thank Port Moresby Nature Park for providing this much needed facility within our city.”
