Puma offering 10 toea discount on fuel products, says official

PUMA Energy PNG Ltd is offering a 10 toea discount on all fuel products at its service stations in Port Moresby and Lae, says country manager Hulala Tokome.
Tokome said the discount was limited to Puma’s fully-branded sites and selected re-sellers and would run for a specific period.
“Given this time, when the fuel price is high, this incentive will offer some form of relief to general commuters and business houses to help their movement from one place to another when conducting their business,” he said.
“We are committed to energising communities and continue our investment in the country by rewarding our customers for their support during tough times.”
Puma Energy country retail manager Gideon Karali said that the special price promotion would be available in 20 sites in Port Moresby and Lae.
Karali re-affirmed the organisation’s commitment to support the fuel retailers most of whom are small-medium enterprises impacted by the fuel prices and are recovering from the Coronavirus (Covid-19) impact.
“We envisage that this relief will cascade down to the fishermen, taxi drivers, bus/truck operators and the general public who one way or another contribute to spin the wheel of our economy,” he said.
The offer ends on Sunday, Aug 7.
