Puma Energy will provide fuel to St John Ambulance to support its work in Port Moresby and Central for the next five years.
This follows a recent memorandum of agreement signed between Puma and St John Ambulance with a donation of K21,900 in Port Moresby.
Puma Energy national sales and marketing manager, Stephen Bell said the company recognised St John’s work in the country.
“We believe partnering with you through providing and managing your fuel is a great opportunity to work together to help communities,” he said.
With St John’s annual grants decreased over the last two years, it was more than happy to be recipient of Puma donation.
St John Ambulance commissioner Matthew Cannon said it would not only save money but also be able to access fuel from Puma.
“Our ambulances travel an average of 300,000km every year throughout National Capital District and Central to attend to emergencies,” he said.
“Having this kind of support makes it easier for us to get to an emergency in time.”
