IT appears to me that Digicel is purposely using electronic blocks to force customers to spend more money than is necessary.
They advertise data packages and talk plans that one can buy using the *675# code.
What is insidious is that it is very easy to buy credits using phone banking, and bring up responses with respect to the code, when there is no money.
But as soon as the credits are bought one is locked out of the *675# service, so that one is forced to use up credits using the normal pay function.
Digicel in this way is forcing people to spend more money.
