PNG Air appoints chief officer

SIMON Pitt has been appointed as chief commercial officer for PNG Air.
The airline company in a statement said Pitt will be in charge of the commercial division for both the passenger and cargo, supporting the business changes that the organisation is going through.
“Simon brings to PNG Air a wealth of knowledge and experience from leading international air carriers spanning over 30 years in management and leadership roles in Australia, Japan, United Kingdom and the United Erab Emirates,” PNG Air said in a statement.
“Simon effectively takes over duties from Nancy Nakikus, who up until appointment was acting chief commercial officer since May 2021.”
