Rabaul cemented in history

THE nation of Rabaul did experience war much in due because of Japan’s empire ambitions.
But the desire for expansion died there because the Allies were successful in keeping Rabaul (now PNG) out of Japan’s Military expansion.
But what happened in the battle for Rabaul was that hopes of Japanese expansion was one of those victims of Allied Success.
But Rabaul and its people will remember the critical part it played in the wining of the war there.
