Ramu NiCo constructs new buildings

RAMU NiCo (MCC) recently commissioned four new buildings at the cost of over K250,000 near its Basamuk refinery in Raicoast, Madang.
The company said in a statement that it considered its contracting company employees as vital members of the workforce thus it had invested in the construction of four new buildings which were commissioned recently.
The new buildings contained a total of 60 rooms which are fully furnished with a solar water heater, air conditioning, wardrobe and a tiled floor.
It said the domestic water connected to each room is directly from the overhead water tank in refinery, the transit water tank in old camp was removed.
A team from the camp management department installed a water boiler and laundry machines in the buildings.
