Rangers must act within law

 THIS is regarding the picture by photographer Ekar Keapu in The National (Sep 24). Was it necessary to spill the seized betel nuts on a public road? The city rangers should have taken the nuts to their disposal yard and destroy them there. The photo also shows the rangers without their safety wear. The NCDC should ensure that the rangers are properly attired and that they perform their duties within the law.
