Registrations have now opened for the 2013 Papua New Guinea Advantage investment summit to be held at the Gateway Hotel in Port Moresby on Sept 9 and 10.

Following the highly successful 2012 event, which was attended by over 300 delegates, the summit will again bring local and international executives together to focus on business and investment opportunities in PNG.

However, organisers the Port Moresby Chamber of Commerce and Industry (POMCCI) and Business Advantage International are planning several enhancements for the 2013 summit, including even more high profile speakers, an enhanced social programme and improved delegate facilities.

“Last year, we set out to create an investment summit of genuinely international standard for PNG,” David Conn, chief executive officer of co-host POMCCI said.

“The enthusiastic feedback we received from delegates confirmed we achieved that. Now we want to raise the bar even higher.

“The summit will have a fully curated program that will leave you stimulated and informed, top quality speakers and plenty of opportunities to talk business,’ said Andrew Wilkins, publishing director of co-host Business Advantage International.

“The first day will focus on PNG’s business and investment climate, with the second devoted to key areas of business opportunity over the coming decade, such as infrastructure, ICT, agribusiness, manufacturing and business services.”
