IT is interesting to see the new Hela province equipped with almost half of the public servant’s vacancies being filled up and public service machineries running.

The Hela administration is predominantly executing the Hela strategic development plan which was drafted and enacted during the authority syndicate, a few people from the human resource division is deliberating a fuss as to known by themselves of the engagement of officers out of the recruitment procedures and processes.

Some of us knew how and where the appointment of (Hela PS) is done.

Inputs are done by our own MPs with no edits, screening, objections and consultations as the MPs are the heads of the district. There is no objection to any kind of directives for their  districts.

It is a slap to the faces for the educated elites who have costly lodge the application in 2012 when the Hela public servant positions were advertised.

If the Hela provincial administrator can remove 55 individuals from the payroll, can that interception be done to the whole mechanism involved in the recruitment, both appointment and reinstatement of the entire public servants?

It is grateful to extend the contract of the hardworking officers but for those who are paid for doing nothing, must be dealt with.
