Rethink food ban

Letters

WE are recovering from the (Coronavirus) Covid-19 as a nation with the aftermath of what it has left our economy and health sector in.
We need to ensure we address major and minor healthy issues and minimise the risk of the Covid-19 or any other diseases like it from spreading across through open fire coming and selling of home-bottled drinks in public places.
But with this ban being on the horizon it will definitely have a negative impact on the income earning opportunities of those who rely on this for their bread and butter.
What do those responsible for imposing the ban plan to ensure that these people are taken care of when their only source of income is banned by the local authorities?
How will they earn their income now?
This is an issue that will be created by the ban and we need to be prepared to deal with the consequences of their decision.
Stop being ignorant and placing bans on literally anything without any foresight or cost-benefit analysis.
