A MOTHER and her son have gone missing and family members are offering K2,000 to anyone with any information on their whereabouts.

Janely Momo Trisha McCann was last seen at Hohola in Port Moresby with son Robert Aiyoba.

Janely’s mum Tina Paru told reporters in Port Moresby that her daughter was residing with her husband’s relative at Burns Peak settlement, Hohola.

Janely’s husband, who has asked not to be identified for security reasons, said the two were last seen at the bus stop next to the Hohola police station heading to the 4-Mile clinic.

“This was the last time neighbours and friends saw them,” he said.

After an unsuccessful week long search, he said they could have been abducted by someone with ulterior motives.

The husband said the family was putting up K2,000 for any information on their whereabouts.

They have notified police at the Hohola station. The family appealed to those who may have abducted or kidnapped the mother and child to release them.

Paru said anyone who had any information on their whereabouts should contact her on 7645 6511/7126 3597, Paru Aihi on 7623 3584 or Alois Yakapu on 7110 8584.
