RH fuel station aims to bring better services

THE newly-established Rimbunan Hijau (RH) mobile fuel service station at the Markham and Milfordhaven road roundabout, believes in efficient customer services to satisfy the increased needs of vehicle owners in Morobe.
The station has 16 pumps – 12 diesel and four petrol – to lessen long queues in evening and mornings.
Branch manager Brannon Yap said 12 diesel pumps could discharge 90-litres per minute while the four petrol pumps could release 40-litres per minute to serve customers from 7am-7pm.
“RH Mobil service station is the only Lae fuel station with added-on automated time gaze (ATG) technology with the capacity to monitor fuel contents in respective tanks and can be able to detect any water mixed in the fuel,” he said.
“More importantly, each pump can withstand earthquakes when a pin inserted inside respective pumps shuts down immediately when tremors happen.”
Considering the rainy season, the fuel tanks were lifted few metres above the ground instead of buried underground.
Yap said this was done to protect the environment and avoid tank corrosion and leakages that would contaminate fuel.
He said the company worked with Butibam Progress Inc, a local landowner company, by contracting them as security.
“We have a spacious car park available including a toilet to cater for customers from Bulolo, Menyamya, Nawaeb and Markham,” he said.
“We offer a comfortable eatery, a mini-mart and a take-away liquor shop for customers with all items at affordable prices.”
The corporate fuel card system was started last Thursday and open to interested companies.
“We also offer free cup of coffee to our sun-up customers from 7am-10.30am each day and every driver gets something free from each fuel transaction,” Yap said.
The zoom pump for motorised dinghies is expected to be installed soon due to increase demand from coastal Morobe.
