Roads under construction

BRINGING economic empowerment to the people of Goilala, Central, roads are being constructed to ensure they are able to access markets to sell their produce.
In a first, local landowners have refused to ask for compensation, saying the road to be built will allow them to have access to money to build up their community, says Woitape president Fabian Aia.
Goilala MP William Samb said that the Connect Goilala programme would allow people to be able to travel into Port Moresby to sell their produce.
“The leaders have said there is no compensation and they have not laid any claims with the district office,” he said.
