ALL concrete slabs have been completed for the Bumbu to Malahang stretch of the Busu road in Lae, according to the contractor.
JV PNG Investment Construction senior project manager Graham Hayes said all work had been completed with only the remaining 150metres at Malahang Market which would soon be completed.
“We’ve also worked on the 1.4km footpath from Paradise Foods to Balob which is complete,” he added.
“We did grass cutting, cleared the drainage and by the end of August, everything should be completed.
“We are also yet to draw out the line markings which is set to be done after the election counting.”
Meanwhile, Dekenai Construction has almost completed road work from Bumbu bridge to Kamkumung roundabout.
That stretch of the road has been built entirely of concrete, funded by the Government.
