Rubbish an eyesore

Letters

It is disgusting to see rubbish piles and potholes right in
front of the new multi-million kina Goroka Airport terminal building.
This is where our visitors, from both within and overseas, pass through to their designated place of stay, whether it be with friends or at a hotel.
The authorities and politicians in Goroka, the capital of Eastern Highlands, must put their political
differences aside and embrace the state-of-the-art terminal.
This is by way of complementing it with a new bus stop and beautifying the surrounding areas with plants and flowers.
Rubbish and potholes are an eyesore.
It’s indeed shameful, left unnoticed and unattended by people concerned.
Do they need Peter O’Neill to come and fix it for them?
